short(ISH)

ok so originally i was going 2 post about my last day @ work. but then i decided that there were 2 issues w. that
1. it was my last day "working" but not my last day "at work" since i have 2 go 4 the presentation on friday.
2. i wasnt in the mood.

so instead i decided 2 write a short (in honor of miriam) little post. so heres part of a forward i got that was part of a letter of a letter of a dvar torah. (still following?)

THE TORAH INFORMS US THAT IN THE WAR THAT MOSHE RABBEINU AND KLALL YISRAEL WAGED AGAINST MIDYON, MOSHE "DRAFTED" ELEF L'MATEH, ELEF L'MATEH---ONE THOUSAND SOLDIERS FROM EACHSHEVET. THE MEDRASH RABBA AND THE YALKUT SHIMONI EXPLAIN THAT IN FACT, EACH SHEVET SENT ONE THOUSAND PAIRS,TWO THOUSAND INDIVIDUALS--ONE THOUSAND TO FIGHT AND ONE THOUSAND TO DAVEN. EACH SOLDIER HAD HIS DESIGNATED PERSON WHOSE TASK WAS TO DAVEN AND LEARN FOR HIS SPECIFIC SOLDIER.

ok. now i have placed our first dvar torah (is that true? i've never actually gone back and read nething so maybe some loyal/bored blog reader who has read the whole thing *cough cough owner of gertrude*)
